This weekend was one of the best ones I had in a while: I spent it with my college best friend. I haven't seen her in a really long time, so I was extremely excited when she told me that my campaign to persuade her and her boyfriend to visit us in Chicago worked. We spent the days sightseeing, and the evenings chatting, trying to catch up on everything. It felt as if the years we spent apart never even happened. As a little bonus, I got the greatest gift ever: a reversible fold-over clutch she made herself. She has always been passionate about handbags, and had a keen eye for details, so I really hope that one day she'll have her own label. I will definitely be a customer, but I'm certain I will not be the only one.
